Preparing your cards…
How to play Spider Solitaire
Build eight King-to-Ace runs using 104 cards. Choose one suit to learn, two for a step up, or four for the full challenge. Each suit mode has its own saved deal, undo and a shareable Matte deal number.
- Cards build downward by one rank. A 7 can go onto an 8 of any suit, but a group moves together only when it is descending and all the same suit.
- An empty column accepts any face-up card or valid same-suit sequence. Move cards to expose the face-down card underneath; it turns over automatically.
- Complete a face-up King-to-Ace sequence in one suit to remove it. Clear eight sequences to win.
- Deal row adds one face-up card to every column. Every column must contain a card before you deal. Five stock rows are available at the start.
- Tap a card and then a destination, or drag it. Undo reverses a move or an entire stock row, including any runs removed by that action.
A tip for your next game
Before dealing a row, combine same-suit cards and uncover hidden cards where possible. A long descending pile with mixed suits cannot move as one group.
Common questions
Does each suit mode keep its own save?
Yes. Switching modes preserves the current one and resumes the selected mode’s saved deal. Shared challenges use separate slots.
Are the deals guaranteed winnable?
No. These are random numbered deals. A hint is a legal suggestion, not proof of a winning line.
How does a friend replay my deal?
Use Share this deal or Copy link. The link includes the mode and versioned Matte deal number. These numbers are not another site’s deal catalog.
