How to play Color by Number
Build a pixel picture one numbered square at a time. Choose a picture from the gallery, then match each square to its palette color.
- Choose a picture to open its numbered grid and color palette.
- Select a palette color, then tap or click squares with the matching number to fill them.
- Switch colors as you work through the picture. Fill all the required squares to complete it.
- When complete, choose Download PNG to save the original pixel picture. It is rendered locally with your palette, without uploading it to another service.
A tip for your next game
Work through one color at a time to make the remaining squares easier to find. Start with a small picture if you want a short break, or choose a more detailed one for a longer session.
Common questions
Is my picture saved?
Progress is saved per picture in this browser. Reopen the same picture to continue. Clearing browser data removes the saves.
Do I need drawing skills?
No. The picture and palette are already defined. You choose the matching color for each numbered square.
Can I fill a square with the wrong color?
A square fills only when its number matches your selected palette color. If a tap does nothing, check the number and select the corresponding color.
